This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Being that I can't read japanese, do you just execute that file and follow the instruction? or is there more?

    I did a bios update for my thinkpad and it was as simple as what I describe above.

    You can easily do a simple but useful translation using Google or Altavista's online automated translation tools, i.e. http://www.google.com/language_tools?hl=en
