This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    New TZ2 out in Japan. But what's new?

    -the news is wrong/old.

    -Or they introduced a budget retail model in Japan. (Previous TZ90 models were customer made)

    I think the latter.

    Their wrong, the TZ2 came out in Europe and it added WWAN there, thats it.

    The " TZ2" did not do much, bar introduce the " TZ71B".

    Different regions have had different configurations of the TZ. In the US, the TZ1 did. In Europe, only the TZ2 did. In Japan, neither do. At least, that's based on what I have read on these forums.

    In Europe, the TZ did not launch with WWAN, neither did the previous T iterations have WWAN in Europe. The TZ2 finally gives them WWAN.
