That sounds like an excellent idea. I'll start a new thread and post my first impressions. I haven't used the P much because I am waiting on a carrying case to protect it properly in my briefcase.

Regular would be just fine. Thanks.
The P is supposed to be my travel laptop and if it can't play iTunes videos/TV shows/movies, it is worthless to me. I ordered the 1.6GHz/128GB SSD version which is available in Germany.

Anyone know if the Japanese model WWAN & GPS card works in the UK?

I am also curious about this...Conics.net saying in their configuration of the P that must be unlocked. Have you tried mailing them and asking this issue?

So, is not sure will work in Europe? Almost certainly? They should be more clear.. if someone lives in Europe and take it from Japan and after doesn't work the WWAN, you have a useless P imo.

Btw, we will now in March when they will start shipping and the first owners will report back.

Japan uses 2100Mhz HSDPA 3G, same as Europe so it should theoretically work if its not as locked-down as their phones.
