    Wow, great find!

The CPU is 2.93 ghZ, the Vista is 64-bit, the SSD is now 128x2 RAID, any other changes? I like better the shadow border... :)

does this mean that the lower models without the 2.93 ghz available in us/ca will also have 64 bit? i don't see why not.. unless it's another marketing ploy like "Fresh Start"

Wow now I'm so happy I've ordered it before refresh :) It's not possible to choose 32bit Windows anymore. And I still think that the older premium design looks better.

The 128x2 (256GB) RAID has been there for awhile on the Z; it was announced just after I ordered my 128GB one. They've removed the 2x64 (128GB), and for 128GB it's a single drive. A big difference too is that you can do Blu-Ray + SSD if you do the 256GB RAID along with the 1600x900 display.

Honestly, as much as I would have liked the 256GB RAID, the 128 is great and the Z is the best laptop I've had to date. Nothing has come close to weight, size, power, and portability.

So that mean we will be having 64 bit support soon?

The design and outlook still looks the same to me.

With the lightest components: One 64gb SSD drive, Only one stick of RAM (2GB), DVD instead of BR, 2.4 processor (maybe it uses a smaller heatsink?), etc...

Weight varies from 1.35kg to 1.52 depending of the configuration.

I got the SR, all I have to say it is a great bang for the buck laptop. However, by looking at the new Z, I want it more and more. I am definately going to purchase a Z for my next laptop in 18 months!

I think it's very very likely that there will be a Z replacement in that sort of timeframe...
