I am currently looking for a new laptop to purchase later this year, and have narrowed it down to three laptops, one of which is the new Vaio S. Whichever laptop I end up purchasing, I will be replacing the hard drive with the new OCZ Vertex 3. However, I have heard that the drive is only worth getting if you are using SATA 6gb/s connection. So my question is, does the new Vaio S released earlier this month support SATA III?

I beleive all notebooks with the sandy bridge processors support Sata3. So yes, if that's the case, then the new S does support it.
