New Z owner... Clean Windows 7 install wanted ;)

Hi all

Bit the bullet and purchased a z51. Tis very nice bar its sloooowness to boot compared to my Dell D630 with clean Windows 7 install.

I backed it up and installed ultimate 7 x64 (technet). Bit quicker to boot but I would like to get the fingerprint scan working again and some other bits.. so this is a thread in progress.

So far I have installed the updated nvidia drivers, Sony Shared Library, Intel WLan and chipset drivers, Setting Utility (which doesnt seem to have done anything) and the Audio Driver.

Could anyone tell me what the SFEP and SPIC drivers are for and how to install them?

The ALPS pointing driver won't install.. Does not work on this OS. Bah. Any pointers?

I haven't had a look on the DVD that came with the machine yet as I still might return it.. possibly.

Haven't even tried the WWAN stuff yet but I had this working with t-mobile rather than the Orange trial that was bundled so hoping that should work in a bit.

Any help and pointers gratefully received.
