This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    If the normal one is now $2499. If you can find the sz160 still, get it. Besides a slightly larger harddrive and edge support, I would rather have the better screen on my sz160 and slightly longer battery life.

    Not sure what you mean by normal one, but the SZ270P/C is a premium model with the larger hdd and edge for only $100 more than the SZ160. Much better deal than the SZ160 IMO.

    unless I read the site wrong (could be, I was in a rush) the sz270 didn't have the LED backlighted screen, but the normal xbrite screen only.
