I'm fancying the Sony SR190 on the sonystyle website but the price is a little higher than I can afford. Are there any coupons or discounts that can lower the price? I've seen the student discount they have before but was wondering any other choices I had as a university student. I may also consider the Sony outlet.

BTW, in any owners of Sony Vaio that reply, how long as your Vaio served you and what's your opinion on it?

    Thanks

I still have VAIO PCG-SR17 (not the same SR as yours) that I bought in 2001. It still works :) Some parts are falling apart due to rough handling but it still works. Good for backup in case my main laptop needs repair.

from the NBR deals page: "Sony Style has Save $200 on Sony VAIO SR series Notebooks w/ coupon code: VAIO200SR (expires 9/26)."

otherwise nothing really, give it a couple weeks and I'm sure they'll have some new deals
