I just picked up a used fz280e for $500CDN - came with upgraded 4gb ram, upgraded to win7, 250GB hd and the bluray writer (these are stock), extra battery, and some blank bd-re disks, etc. As a newb, I have some questions and issues:

    1) what exactly are the differences between all the difference vaio models - upon a quick scan in this forum, seems like there are tons of different ones (ie. z, fz, rs, etc, etc)

    2) within the fz series, what are the different models and their differences (does the high number such as fz280 vs fz2180 mean a difference screen size or just older models)?

    3) not that I really know what 64 bit is anyway, but is the fz280 a 64 bit laptop? You see this listed in newer laptops as a selling feature? What does 64 bit mean anyway.

    4) I'm still playing with the new laptop, but the only real/physical issue is the expresscard slot has been pushed in. I'm not sure if it is just the cover/flipper or the entire reader. I assume I'm not the first one to experience this - is this common and how hard is it to fix? I assume I have to open up the case - is this hard?

    Thanks
