    i recently upgraded to Vista Business and since then have had quite an experience upgrading all of my drivers. I had a lot of trouble with getting my graphics driver to support all of the Aero features, and also allowing my fn + f5/f6 commands to work and actually adjust my brightness. I finally found a driver that allows me to do that, however now i am having issues with my monitor going blank and not coming back on without a restart. It does not go blank while i am using it, it just seems to happen after long periods of the computer being idle. When this does happen i can't do anything to bring it back, however the computer still functions fine because i can hear the noises.

    I believe this to be a problem with my graphics driver, and was curious if any of you have found a graphics driver with no problems. I have the nVIDIA GeFORCE GO 7600. Here is info on my system.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Hi there, I had the same issues.

    I'm from Australia and have the VAIO FE38GP. A few days ago I upgraded to Vista Business following every instruction the Sony booklet gave me, yet still have a problem with the graphics driver and the screen blacking out when i closed the lid and not coming up again when opening it, Aero works fine for me however.

    You'll find a workaround. See the last post on that page, plus the consecutive posts on the followin page. That's all there is at the moment until someone gets proper drivers out. :(

    I still have problems though where the screen would flicker when I lock the computer and disconnect me from my wireless. Haven't found a solution for that though heh.

    i have the newest version and sufferng for this vista any site for drivers of sony......vista is nt good at all...i wanna run xp in it but there's no drivers
