Where can I get the Vista Camera Driver for my Sony SZ-381P? The only one available is the one for SZ4xx but the driver refused to install in my system saying that the driver is not intended for my model.

I tried to install the XP driver. The installation program completed successfully and the camera is listed in the Device Manager but when I tried to use it in Windows Movie Maker, it couldn't find it. The camera is not listed in the Control Panel under "Scanner and Camera" either.

I also use the XP driver in Vista.

I also don't see the camera in Movie Maker or Scanner and Camera Wizard. In XP the camera also was shown in My Computer. However, the camera works fine with the VAIO Camera Util and MSN Messenger.

I assumed it's a feature of Vista, i.e. webcam not displayed in My Computer.

Edit:/ The reason the SZ4+ drivers don't work is because the camera is a different model, VCC5 instead of VCC2, whatever that means :)

How do you run VAIO Camera Utility and MSN Messenger in Windows Vista?
