I just noticed that there is no win 7 video drivers available for all those models except the new vaio z890 ones. Is it alright if I download the video driver from z890? I have a vaio z620.
Thanks!

there are like 4 other threads on this page that would answer your question
but since i'm feeling kind, yes but you must update to the latest bios also pointed out on those other threads. yes, the bios will also work on your Z620

what i messaged my friend earlier today (we both have Z590s):
Ryan: ok i got thebrihgtness working
heres what u do
first
use this
http://support.vaio.sony.eu/computi...0208699.exe&m=VGN-Z31WN_B&ip=EP0000208699.htm
that uninstalls ur nvidia driver so be in stamina
then install ur new bios with this
http://support.vaio.sony.eu/computi.../7UPG_BIOS_Sony_M3a_R4043M3.zip&m=VGN-Z31WN_B
its super easy and quick
and then install the new nvidia driver with this
http://support.vaio.sony.eu/computi...0208680.exe&m=VGN-Z31WN_B&ip=EP0000208680.htm
finally
install the new event service here

I have modified my bios which enables the hidden configurations. Is it alright to just upgrade the bios without reverting it? Can I still enable the hidden items after I have upgraded the bios? Thanks.
