Hey guys, one of my speakers (the right one) isnt working i.e. no audio is coming from it now. Awhile ago it it made an audio splurt but that has been it. Just discovered the issue.

Can someone assist me, any ideas about what could have caused this and how to solve it?

Thanks in advance for your reply.

Try right-clicking on the speaker icon in the system tray, then open the mixer. Click on the Device's icon, then on the next window, look under Levels tab, then click on Balance button. Make sure all sliders are side by side.

Hey Jason I did that and I did the speaker test the right one is definitely not working.

Both left and right speakers are fully balanced at 100.

Hhhhm... well, before I would consider it a defect, I would download Ubuntu, and boot your laptop with it. Play some sounds from Ubuntu to see if both speakers work. Hopefully, it will just be a driver issue with Windows...
