    the 50% off is a "meh" deal, there were much better discounts goin on before (free upgrade to 2gb ram, free upgrade to 160gb hd, and free office 2007!).

    They just seem to be rearranging the numbers to give a worse discount now. My machine would have been $200 dollars more at the current promotion rate, with the stuff i got.

    They don't seem to have the 780 any more though. Also, not much configuration choices, unlike how it was on Sony Style just a week ago.

    you kidding me? the 50% shaved off almost 500 dollars of the price, plus the 200 dollar coupon + the 300 campus saving :D

    i got my SR190 2.8GHz, 4GB ram, ATI + 200GB 7200 rpm + 3 years warranty + smart protection + bluetooth laser mouse @ $1980
