    Hi all,

I'm having a weird problem with my FZ180E, Vista Ultimate.
At my place, Vista will not find any wireless networks unless I connect the notebook wired to the router (Linksys WRT54GL with DD-WRT v24 software), there are usually several networks on range that appear when I connect the eth cable. After connecting the eth all networks appear in range in the "Connect to a Network" window. This only happens at home, at work everything works fine and Vista automatically connects to the wireless network.
It might be an interference problem but this is weird since other notebooks (Dell Inspiron and a MacBook Pro) finds all the networks properly, it's only my VAIO who can't find anything.

Drivers (and Wireless Switch Software monitor) were downloaded from Sony website and installed, all settings are to defaults.

The router is not interfering with the signals since this happens with the router On or Off, I tried with the house lights off, microwave, etc, to eliminate interference, same results and like I said this only happens with the VAIO.

    Driver details are:

    Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN
    Driver Date: 9/26/2007
    Driver Version: 11.5.0.32

    802.11n Channel Width: Auto
    802.11n Mode: Enabled
    Ad Hoc Channel 802.11 b/g: 11
    Ad Hoc Power Mgnt: Disabled
Ad Hoc QoS Mode: WMM Disabled
    Fat Channel Intolerant: Disabled
    Mixed Mode Protection: CTS-to-self Enabled
    Roaming Aggress: 3. Medium
    Through Enhance: Disabled
    Tramsmit Power: 5. Highest
    Wireless Mode: 4. 802.11 b/g

Any ideas about what could be happening is much appreciated.

What (if anything) is different at work than at home?
