Preshipping 7/31/2007 in the United States.Only the high end bottom two (at $3199 and $3299) have the 32GB flash. All models seems to come with DVD. Anyway, at such price I'd still be considering importing it.

they have bordeaux!!!
So, somebody smart at SonyStyle USA placed it under "C-series", so it came up in the search...
They also seemed to have made the battery estimates much more conservative.

Hey, very nice jc4ho! Could you find something like that for the SZ?
-
What's wierd is it lists the RAM as 2x1GB but there is only one RAM slot on the TZ90.
Also, it doens't look like SSD will be an option and the biggest HD will be 100GB instead of 160GB -
another weird thing is that this is TZ180N but the software download is for TZ160C.

i've found a few more interesting links with availability dates and prices. links up top..

Seriously, shipped from japan, with English Vista installed, it cost me $600 less than they are selling it for here. How insulting - everyone should consider importing it.
-
Pretty lame.
The cheapest version is $2300 and it only comes with 1gb and the 1.06ghz processor.
Not to mention none of them can be equipped with the faster 5400 rpm HD. -
holy **** 3500 shipped out the door for the premium carbon model....wtf
I was originally holding out to buy it from the US but it seems that's not an option so I was wondering...of the 3 sites dynamism, conics, pricejapan...what are the pros/cons to each or does anyone have any recommendations either way?
My main concerns are having some kind of warranty for peace of mind along with an english keyboard. -
With dynamism, you sent it to them in the US and they will send it to japan for you. But of course dynamism is the most expensive.
You can get the english keyboard with all 3.
I went with pricejapan and I'm happy with my decision, but I've heard good things about conics too. -
-
Some people mentioned something about your warranty being voided or invalid if you put an Engligh OS on there, is that true?

You should see what the UK has to pay. £2000 (roughly $4000) for the top range model on Sony Style and its not even the highest spec it can go. We get raped the worst.
-
Cant see the links anymore... does it have the Santa Rosa?
-
Just noticed the US TZ's have a FN action on the F1 key, looks like a WLAN/BT/WWAN toggle. Don't have this on the JP version of the TZ. I'd imagine that with the US hotkey software installed it should still work with the F1 key though.

Well they have added official links to the TZ today (for pre-order to ship 7/31) as previously reported here.

Total for the CF model comes to $3,299 + taxes. My total was $3530.99... that is crazy.
I wonder if these premium model will show up elsewhere to buy without having to pay tax (Amazon, etc...) and hopefully with a discount. Otherwise... importing it is actually cheaper.
