What's wierd is it lists the RAM as 2x1GB but there is only one RAM slot on the TZ90.
Also, it doens't look like SSD will be an option and the biggest HD will be 100GB instead of 160GB

Seriously, shipped from japan, with English Vista installed, it cost me $600 less than they are selling it for here. How insulting - everyone should consider importing it.

    Pretty lame.

The cheapest version is $2300 and it only comes with 1gb and the 1.06ghz processor.

Not to mention none of them can be equipped with the faster 5400 rpm HD.

holy **** 3500 shipped out the door for the premium carbon model....wtf

I was originally holding out to buy it from the US but it seems that's not an option so I was wondering...of the 3 sites dynamism, conics, pricejapan...what are the pros/cons to each or does anyone have any recommendations either way?
My main concerns are having some kind of warranty for peace of mind along with an english keyboard.

With conics and pricejapan, you gotta send it to them in japan for warranty work. Conics and pricejapan are priced similarly. Conics will install english vista for you, pricejapan won't.

With dynamism, you sent it to them in the US and they will send it to japan for you. But of course dynamism is the most expensive.

You can get the english keyboard with all 3.

I went with pricejapan and I'm happy with my decision, but I've heard good things about conics too.

if warranty is a big issue for you, I suggest you pay the premium and go with dynamism.

Some people mentioned something about your warranty being voided or invalid if you put an Engligh OS on there, is that true?

You should see what the UK has to pay. £2000 (roughly $4000) for the top range model on Sony Style and its not even the highest spec it can go. We get raped the worst.

Well they have added official links to the TZ today (for pre-order to ship 7/31) as previously reported here.

    https://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wc...Id=8198552921644507782&parentCategoryId=16154

Total for the CF model comes to $3,299 + taxes. My total was $3530.99... that is crazy.

I wonder if these premium model will show up elsewhere to buy without having to pay tax (Amazon, etc...) and hopefully with a discount. Otherwise... importing it is actually cheaper.
