Not exactly a Sony, nor a laptop, but...

Finally, someone had the balls to place a full mobile quad core chip onto a tablet! Battery life's probably gonna suck but I like it when companies push the envelope. Pretty extreme and I'm all for it.
This is looking to be a good replacement to my aging Z. Hope there's an option for 16gb ram.

I am surprised that there are not more comments about this. I read about it the other day, and I must say that it sounds very interesting.

I know this may sound a little nuts, but I really wish it could make telephone calls too, and do everything a phablet or tablet can do, in addition to being the top of the range power horse it is meant to be. Obviously I do not want to hold it next to my ear, but to be able to accept calls via a Bluetooth headset means I can use my main laptop at the office and use this as the move around without needing to buy a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 or a Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4".

Is it a gloss or matt screen? I personally prefer the latter, as it makes it so much easier to work on.

Its a terrible idea but will appeal to some I suppose. The whole point of a tablet is to be light and portable that thing is thick and chunky.

This new company would of done better just to release the 2012-13 Z with 16GB RAM, which change something if its not broken.

The battery life as mentioned will be next to useless and in one video you can clearly see vibration/shaking issues with the stand positioned like that. The stand really need to be reversed. I think the fan was at full pelt and the whole thing was shaking. Ill try find the vdieo.

They need to go and rehire the sony design team.
