I've previously posted my experience with Windows 7 build 7000 here. It worked quite well for 7100 as well and all things were good.

I've just done a clean install on 7600 and I am not really thrilled with build.
    1. There appear to be more processes running on a clean install.
    2. The fan seems to work more than previously, although the system was defaulted to Power mode. Even when I went back to balanced, the fan seems to work more.
    3. The darned nVidia drivers refuse to install when I boot up in speed mode.

Haven't tried the 64-bit because I need my webcam for Skype. I may try it or reinstall, but I think 7100 was better for my SZ680.

Anyone else put 7600 on their system?
