    Hi guys!
First of all, sorry for my english i am not so good at it.
So here is the issue that my notebook has.
    I have a Sony Vaio PCG-NVR23 Laptop.CPU: Mobil AMD Athlon XP 1800+ at 1.533 GHZ , Busspeed 266 MHz
What happend was, I was watching a movie on it and it froze. When I tried to reboot it didn't power on.It smelt like something burnt out inside of the computer.
Can it be the CPU?Or what else?Thank you for any idea.

It sure sounds like you fried something. All you were doing was watching a movie...? I would call Sony support.

If it's still under warrenty you should be fine. :)

Something overheated or a transistor blew, could be tons of things, not likely something you can fix though. As noted above, call support.
