    I just bought an SZ 230 with a targus notebook lock, but dont see a whole where i can put the lock into. Where is the small hole where I can put the lock through?

    Check the manual which comes with your VAIO.

    Failing that, I'd have to look at the manual tonight when I'm home.

    I find it hard to believe that you have put any effort into finding where the lock is yourself...It is also known as the security slot (page 13 of the manual).

    Check the back left corner near the air vent.
