    Hi,

    From what I know a fast Nvidia card+ 3D Glasses + 120HZ MONITOR= Nvidia 3D vision for 3D gaming.

    My question is has anyone tried outputiing to a 120hz compatible monitor via HDMI and the glasses and see if this worked?

    Would be cool if the Z could.

    http://www.nvidia.com/object/3D_Vision_Requirements.html

    If so, I would probably get the glasses and a compatible monitor.

    Should work fine as long as you don't enable double monitor.

    I have the same question. Is my z11 (with core i5, geforce 330m) fit enough for 3d-gaming?

    A test on the following website says no ... is there anybody who tested it?

    thanks and greetings from austria :)

    @Locknail : "New Z" mean VPC-Z11/Z12/Z13, which all get GT330M
    I think that your link analyse hardware and that Z's screen is the limitation (60Hz refresh)

    @Crus-T:

    The link analyse the hardware and the videocard is the problem ;(

    I use my z11 as a desktopreplacement ... so i need an extern monitor.

    If my z11 with it's hardware is fit enough (gt330m & core i5) for 3d i will buy a Samsung SyncMaster 2233RZ or a ViewSonic VX2268wm.

    If not i don't need an 120 hz screen.

    Thanks! :)

    Locknail.

    The GT-330M is definitely not enough for 120Hz gaming.

    in speed mode.

    Video Card fail:

    Minimum: GeForce 8800 GTX or above, GeForce 9800 GT or above, GeForce GTS 250 or better, GeForce GT 320 or higher, or GeForce GTS 450 or higher
    You Have: GeForce GT 330M

    Is a gt 320 better than the z's gt 330m?!?

    GeForce GT 330M is better than GT 320M, but not better than GT 320.

    According to this chart, the 330M will only do 3D blu-ray movies, but not games.
