    Nvidia Control Panel is missing after Clean Install

    Hi, I have Sony SZ381P. How do I get Nvidia Control Panel to show up after XP clean install? When I right click on the desktop, it's not there nor does it show at the start button -> control panel. I have tried to reinstall from Sony website and from the recovery DVD. Same problem. This is the only problem I have with the clean install. Everything else seems to work, even the stamina/speed graphic switch works fine.

    Yes, I have the driver installed. Device Manager shows that I have GeForce Go 7400. Do the driver and the control panel come separately? I only see Nvidia Driver from Sony website or from the Recovery DVD.

    I have found the problem. It appears that the Nvidia driver installation program from Sony website is broken. It doesn't install Nvidia Control Panel Applet (nvcpl.cpl). I had to reinstall from the recovery DVD. Unfortunately, windows wouldn't let me reinstalled from the DVD since it said that the driver was not newer than the one already in the system. I had to reformat, reinstall Win XP and reinstall the driver from the recovery DVD.
