Hiya. I recently bought myself a Vaio SZ453NB which came with the default Vista Business setup.

I'd like to update the drivers for the Nvidia GeForce Go 7400 GPU but I'm having trouble figuring out how.

Windows Device Manager says my Driver Date is 22/11/2006 & Driver Version 7.15.10.9735.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    Thanks in advance.

Also, read the instructions before you install the drivers.

Your Windows or applications may have problems with inf modified drivers from laptopvideo2go.com (mine did). If you want the official drivers, you should download and install the driver for VGN-AR7 series.

    http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/swu-download.pl?mdl=VGNAR790UB&upd_id=3312&os_id=30

All Sony Nvidia drivers are universal and should work with any Sony model. But you have to use Universal Extractor http://legroom.net/software/uniextract to manually extract the file and by pass the model checker.

    Thanks all.

I went to laptopvideo2go, got a little confused, posted here, got some more advice, updated my driver & have had no problems so far. I didn't even have to use the modded .inf file.

    Thanks for the advice.

Hi Craig, does the brightness control work with the driver you installed?
