    ODM VENDOR on SONY 14" BX series?

    Does anyone else think that the SONY BX 14" model coming out closely resembles the ASUS M9V 14" model not currently available in the US? Similar casing style including built in web cam yet different port placement around case perimeter. ASUS had done ODM prods for SONY in the past...maybe this is another?
    M9v comes w ATI x600 stock vs BX x700.
    Curious to know if it is made in Japan like S&T or in China like FJ.
    Would like to hear others thoughts on this.

    Yeah I noticed it looked pretty similar, same features, but the webcam at least looks like its a different manufactorer, the rest could just be cosmetic.

    Sony is one of those OEMs that actually owns their design wins, so Asus could not release any whitebox notebooks that resembles too much any of their Sony laptops. I guess they could release somewhat similar ones, though.
