i just returned my vaio s460 at best buy due to some of the pixels in the screen wiggling. I exchanged it for a brand new s460 and guell what! it does the same thing in the same area. so heres my question. Is it a defect in quite a few s460s or is it normal? I wonder if it just takes time for it to go away. I had my first s460 for about a week and i noticed the problem would go away then comeback. Will it disspear altogether someday? what should i do?

Ask for an exchange. If you still get another one like that, ask for a refund if possible because it is possible that the whole batch the store received was defective.

I went through two of the s460,s in one week.the proublem being the pixel proublem another being that very loud fan as well as heat from the unit.it,s gets to hot.the future of this s460 will be very bad.this mother board will not be able to handel the heat due to the cheap fan sony installs in this model.I called sony support and that was a joke.before getting the sony s460 i had the grx 690.it was ok .it worked 3/4 of the time so it was a sony .if you can take this s460 back do so.unhappyness will be the future with thi unit.I gave up on sony and went toshiba buying the Qosmio G15 [
] .by fare much strong and getting a very high rating on cnet of a 8.4 costing me 300.00 more
OMG! S460 screen problem AGAIN!
