Hi guys! I own Sony FW laptop, after a rather painful experience of reinstalling Vista and all the drivers for the laptop (my PC doesn't even need that many drivers!) I was considering to switch over to Macbook, because since its just a school laptop which needs to process docs, photoshop and thats pretty much it, but eventually Ive decided against that. But now I am considering the best of both worlds alternative OSX on FW! Has anyone tried that approach? Please post your experiences with OSX on FW, or any laptop. Thanks!

Sorry man installing OS X on non Apple laptop is illegal and talking about it is against the forum rules. I'll have to close this thread.

You could downgrade to XP though. XP SP3 is, in my opinion, very fast and with the right settings, very reliable.
