Sorry if I am posting on a wrong forum - could not find any active VAIO CR thread.

Lately, I cannot make my VGN-CR220E with Vista Home Premium Windows-32 connect to the Internet for hours. I only have DSL and it works fine with my old TOSHIBA laptop. So the problem is within this VAIO.

Checked all the cables, sockets, etc. Sometimes the ETHERNET LED on WEBSTEL MODEL 6100 is dark despite the cable is connected, sometimes all WEBSTEL LEDs are on but not blinking - no connection. After a few dozen laptop and modem restarts, the connection is back for no obvious reason. The problem persists for a few more days and then goes away to be back in a month or so. Can someone please help me to solve this annoying issue?

    Thank you,
    HUF
