Both of these problems seem to have appeared today. (vpcz122gx, 3 weeks old)

First, my battery is acting odd. I have battery care on 80% and it stops charging at 76%. If i turn off Battery Care and Charge it to 80% and turn it back on it will stay at 80%. I even charged it to 100% and now after discharging it only goes up to 79%.

Second, after putting my laptop to sleep, tapping it on the right side near the power button wakes it up. I'm not hitting any buttons or anything but just applying a tiny bit of pressure on the side (with lid closed and open) it wakes up. I have no idea why.

Are these known issues? How would I go about fixing them.

Edit: Also, power was showing 75% available (plugged in, charging) for over an hour. So I unplugged it and was going to replug it, but the computer shut off immediately as if there wasn't a battery connected at all.

Maybe you should contact Sony, and get a replacement, if you aren't happy with a new product, return it... Seriously. You pay for a fully working/operating laptop, when you don't get that, return it.
