We've just noticed that in our review TZ (191N) that when in sleep mode it still chew through battery at an alarming rate. In two days the battery is essentially dead. The current idea is the flash drive requires more power to stay on, but that's pretty shaky. Anyone else experiencing this?

Brian, I assumed you made sure that the TZ is actually completely in sleep mode?
For example I activated sleep mode on an Acer Travelmate 7514, only to find out that due to some odd Vista/ACPI malfunction, it did not really put the notebook into sleep. It also chewed through battery at a very quick pace. Maybe that could be the issue?
For example on my ThinkPad X61, when put in Sleep mode, it leaves one LED indicator on, indicating Sleep mode. It only turns on the computer again when I push the power switch. No problem with battery consumption. About 15% max. consumption for a full day in sleep mode without turning it on.
On the Acer Travelmate 7514, it also leaves one LED indicator on, indicating sleep mode. However, it can be turned on by simply pressing any key, indicating that it was never in sleep mode.
One last thing. Have you checked that i.e. all of the network devices are unchecked in the "allow this device to wake up the computer" field?
