Universal Extractor is a program do to exactly what it says: extract files from any type of archive, whether it's a simple zip file, an installation program, or even a Windows Installer (.msi) package.
You can then run the setup exe files directly without it checking your specific Z model.

hi, can anyone please tell me what drivers / programs i need from the esupport site? i just finished a semi-clean install on my z690
i went here: http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/swu-list.pl?mdl=VGNZ690&SelectOS=34
for example, under "Wireless", there is a "Gobi UNDP-1" driver... there are a bunch of these strange drivers / programs and I have no idea if I need them.
Could anyone please be so kind as to clarify this to me? -
I wonder if we can order 64-bit recovery discs at a later date. I'd rather do that. Knowing Sony, probably not...
-
I have a VGN-Z21XN/B and I cannot find a 64-bit Ethernet driver. Unfortunately, the one you mentioned cannot be installed...
-
You guess your laptop has a Intel LAN controler, therefore the Marvell driver mentioned obove doesn't work.
The proper driver can be dl here.
