I ordered my Tz190 from Chris on ebay. I shoulda coffed up the extra 100 for 5-7days delivery, but since i was barely able to pay for the Tz itself, i had to go with Chris standard shipping and that was the "ponyexpress". He said the shipping was on the 9th and that 10-12 "business" days is the amount of time for delivery. So its actually the 27th that is the full 12 business days. But from his feedback on ebay, that is highly inplausible. But i have my hopes and was praying that today the 10th businessday i would have it but no, im left to be lonely for the holiday weekend. just wanted to share my dispair and needed to vent alittle. i shoulda hawked grandmom's gift to get that extra hundred for faster delivery but i know ill regret hawking it later. Dam life is so sucky.

The whole delivery thing with ebay Chris is what put me off from ordering from him. I went with B&H Photo who delivered my laptop in 3 days, from USA to Ireland. That is fantastic service. I was expecting it within a week, but three days was very sweet, just in time for the weekend.... Did I mention it was only 3 days :)

B&H is in NY (vs. the west coast or even the Midwest) but 3 days to Ireland is still really impressive. Welcome to the TZ club, stevierg!

Noname -- hang in there! It will be a long wait with Chris but well worth it! Not much else to say. I definitely think not hawking your grandmother's gift was the right choice. It's not as if you really NEED it this moment, is it? (I know it feels that way, though!)

    Good luck!

    Ben

Ahh I ended up with a SZ, I find the TZ too small for me.

Waiting is the most painful thing. After my laptop was sent out I was checking the UPS tracking page every 5 minutes, lol.

    While your waiting....

Get all your data/programs ready to install/migrate onto the notebook.
Maybe buy some accessories or upgrades for it if you have some money left
Practice your victory dance and scream when you finally get it.

The SZ series is also sweet! Yeah, waiting for one of these is torture. We've all been there. Rahul's advice (including the victory dance practice :)) is good.

Yup, sounds like your ready! I think the "standard" TZs come with a slip case but I'm not 100% sure. The "special edition" models (like the TZ195 ;)) come with a leather case.

Hope you don't have to wait much longer.
