I have an old FS115B (Pentium M739 1.6ghz, X Black TFT WXGA 1280 X 800 screen with a Hitachi DK23FA-60 60GB HD 1GB PC2700 memory which I think is the max allowed?) or PCG-791M to give it the other Sony reference.

Its still a fairly good laptop and I am letting my seven year old use it as his first computer.
the only thing is the Hard drive is so small.
Can anyone tell me how easy is it to change the hard drive for a bigger capacity one and which type of Hrad drive is compatable?

    many thanks in advance

It is very easy to upgrade your hard drive.
Hard drive is located on the front left corner underneath your laptop.
Using a small screw driver to remove its cover.
There are 4 more screws to hold the caddy.
You also have to remove another 4 screws holding hard drive to the caddy.
For the hard drive type, you can buy any 2.5" PATA hard drive with IDE connector. DO NOT BUY ANY 2.5" SATA.

Thanks for that. I would have bought a SATA!
