So it has been a month and I have to say I LOVE this computer.
    Super fast
    Super responsive
I have the HD screen, which makes working on two windows side by side optimal, which thereby increases my effiency
    Ultraportable

Wish it had a feeding dvd slot, like the mac, i fear the tray will break.
Also I wish the power brick was smaller.

For the other owners who have a few weeks, what are you thoughts?

Yeah, just watched a Blu-ray film called Life (by BBC) simply beautiful on the fHD screen.

I'm kind having trouble finding a task for all this power. Im already doing a lot of stuff at the same time and this thing is not even breaking a sweat.

The keyboard seems that it will get dirty easily, so I'm using a keyboard cover since the day I got it.

Simple, just have many IE tabs open and convert some ape to flacs files while file sharing and jdownloading.

Switch windows and BAM! it will hiccup once.

There's a ''solution'' for the hickups. It's just because of the encoding priority, you'll get that with any dual core. If you lower the priority a bit you won't notice it at all (encoding per track takes like 4 secs longer) and you can just use your computer normally while doing encoding..

Yeah love my Z aswell. Performance is great (i use it almost all the time). Really enjoy the fast SSD speed, can't think of myself going back to a regular HDD anymore hehe. My desktop has turned into a (file) server rather than my desktop >_<

    Use either Badaboom: badaboomit.com

    or Cyberlink Media Expreso: http://www.cyberlink.com/products/mediaespresso/overview_en_US.html

Both use Nvdia CUDA tech to use the Nvidia Video card to offlload the task from the CPU ta GPU, leaving the CPU mostly free for other tasks.

You have to be in performance mode, as in stamina the nvidia card is turned off.

You shouldnt be getting any hickups, I don't, especially not when using the video card for encoding purposes.
