    Hi,

Recently I got a external harddisk and connected it to my PCG-NV309. Seems to work at usb 1.1 but after copying files some time it gives me a blue screen (IRQ_NOT_EQUAL_OR_LESS).
Searching on the error code it was suggested that the laptop gets overheated.

I tried a windows reinstall, but it doesnt help very well, sometimes the system process goes to 100% cpu time due to an usb dll instead of the mentioned blue screen.
Also during the recovery the laptop powered down automatically, overheated?

Now i'm trying to open the case to dust of the fans, which probably will be full of dust after 4 years. Has anyone a manual to proper open the case, just removing all screws doesnt work..

I found this service manual of a NV290, but it doesnt tell how to open the case.

    Thanks,

    Gert
