    He was one of the firsts to get his hands on one... and completely tear it apart.

    Uhh... is it me or did you detach the ribbon cable on the keyboard side (as opposed to removing it from the motherboard). Is it easier that way? I find that reattaching the ribbon cable to the motherboard takes... forever! (maybe because i'm so scared of killing it or bending a pin... should've seen me when i didn't reattach it correctly and booted up to find my touchpad wasn't working)

    right I find the same problem of detaching from the system board
