    Hi,

I just got my Sony VAIO FS38 for 2 weeks, it is a Australian model that come with Pentium M 2.1Ghz, 512 DDR2 RAM, 100GB, GeForce 6400....i think the only different is the processor speed. After using it for, 2weeks....my comment is I really love this machine.

The pros: Stylish design, good built quality, Bright and beautiful X-Brite LCD srceen, fast proccessor, silent machine, good keyboard, consider light and slim for 15.4' laptop and the main thing is...IT's SONY....hehe.

The cons: Slow 4200rpm harddisk, bulky adapter, no bluetooth, no built-in microphone and the battery can stand about 2.5 hours only.

The FS series has one of the most brightest, intense screens I've ever seen, it puts most notebooks screens to shame.

I own a FS570. It is a terriffic machine but...

    1. it is a bit bulky
    2. you really need to get rid of that 4200 rpm hard drive.

I just ordere one S series notebook from HK (which my parents will receive and bring here to Turkey) just because it is rather small.

However, if you don't think of moving aroud too much, I thing the FS series are fabulous.
