Noticed your sig said that you're considering buying a notebook.

The best advice to buying a notebook is to just buy it when you need it. If you keep waiting (ie, you waiting for Dell's refresh) there will always be a better notebook that might be coming out with superior specs and whatnot.

You should get a Z590 like the OP today ;)

Ooh, tell me about it! There is *always* a reason to wait, but I have finally decided on THIS MONTH. I was just so bummed after jumping on the M1330 and hating it, I am scared of another let down. :/ But I was able to get a discount on tuition this semester, so my mom said I can use that $3k saved to get my laptop ... I don't want to miss that opportunity, no $ out of my pocket! ;)

(OK, I admit though ... I decided to wait for the Dell e4300 to go up for sale, just in case...so I can see the price and do a better compare/contrast...I know, I know............)

I don't think I'm going 590, I think CTO 540 (w/ P9500, 4gb ram, 200gb/7200rpm, 4 yr ADH). Don't confuse me! ;) I can't see the Z in person, but the 1600x900 kinda scares me, it seems like plenty are saying how tiny it really is ... I definitely don't want to feel like the resolution is a burden, and since I am going w/ no blu-ray or SSD ... If the 590 had the 540 resolution as another native option, I'd go for it, but it doesn't.
