NOTE: Posted this in the off-topic forum, but thought placing here would get more views and responses.

I checked Amazon.com for prices on the 2008 Z series 46" Sony LCDs. I wanted to know if ordering online and having it shipped to me via Freight would be okay? Are the boxes handled pretty good? Amazon.com offers FREE white glove delivery but I am very picky about how well it is shipped and handled. I don't want a damaged box and TV. I would buy in-store if the prices matched Amazon.com, but they don't, I would save about $700 by going the Amazon.com route over retail for the KDL-46Z4100.

Should I be CONCERNED about ANYTHING to order online and considering it is a 46" TV?

Also, Amazon.com lists the black bezeled TV for about $1,800 and the silver bezeled TV for a little over $2,000 even though the only difference is the bezel color. Any way to get Amazon.com to bring the price of the Silver bezeled TV to $1,800?

I DO NOT want to pay the retail price tag of $2,500 for the same TV in a retail store.
