    Ack. So I wasn't sure if I was ready to put the hammer down on a new Penryn FZ and decided unfortunately too late for free shipipng. Now it says they're backordered so I'm kind of iffy on the availability. But, I just configured an equivalent non-Penryn system and it was $1900 something vs $1489 for the FZ4000 Penryn.

    For those of us wanting Penryn, any ideas on if we're in danger of losing this pricepoint if we delay ordering??

    Sony offers free shipping every week. I believe it starts on Thursday through the weekend. Are you saying the non Penryn system will cost you more? If that's the case, just back order it and save your place.
