Hi, anyone has experience with ordering non-US keyboards with their Vaio from Sony USA? Or even if it's possible to do that (maybe I have to order by phone)?

Unfortunately, I don't think Sony USA offers that option. :(

Not possible. Japan has the most keyboard options.

Also remember with most of the newher Sony laptops, the body has spaces for the keys, so if it's a different config, it would be different body parts.

I ain't too sure about the States, but Sony New Zealand does replace it for you, provided you buy the part and pay the labour costs involved. And as FenderP says, some languages require more / less keys, meaning the alumimium palm-rest is also different (thus you'll need a new upper chassis, a needless waste of money)

I KNOW for a fact that the Korean keyboard fits perfectly on all English keyboard layouts, but Chinese, Japanese, I KNOW for a fact that those will not.

...You should have gotten the Z from your country of choice in the first place...

Yeah... but none of the dealers in Portugal (where I'm from, the layout I want) or Denmark (where I live) have the Z for even pre-ordering... and when they have, it will be €300-€400 more expensive than the US price anyway :(
