I wouldn't advise overclocking the cpu. You can always upgrade it if you really want to. The gpu on the other hand, the go 7600 i believe, can be easily overclocked.

First download rivatuner, HWmonitor and make sure your drivers are up to date (the newest ones are available on laptopvideo2go.com)
It's would also be a good idea to download 3Dmark06 and ati-tools to stress your gpu, measure increased performance and scan for artifacts.

There's plenty of guides on oc'ing gpu's but the jist of how to do it is:
Increase the core clock 5-10MHz at a time and run 3Dmark06 while monitoring temps. If the gpu temps stay in a safe range (lower than 80C) then increase the clock another 5-10Mhz. After do the same for the memory clock and run ati-tool's artifact scanner aswell to check for artifacting.

Don't push the clocks too far! Even if the temperatures remain in a safe range as your card will eat up more power and as you can't alter the current consumption of laptop gpu's and pushing too far will cause instability.
    Good luck ;)

    Did you download HWmonitor:
    http://www.cpuid.com/hwmonitor.php

Keep an eye on temps there. Again i wouldn't recommend oc'ing the processor as you could damage your system fairly easily  You also won't see much improvement performance wise with general use.

I wouldn't overclock at all unless you know *exactly* what you are doing.
You need to increase the processor speed in *small* increments and stress test the cpu every time with a program like orthos or wprime.

Really the performance increase will not be enough to justify burning out your laptop.

If your not stress testing your cpu then you can't tell if the oc is stable. I suggest leaving it for a while and reading some of the overclocking guide on the forum, then maybe taking another stab at it if you want ;)
