Hi everyone. I was wondering if anyone has successfully overclocked the 8400 in the SZ series. If so how did you do it. Everytime I try, the settings revert back to stock. :( Thanks

    Use Rivatuner 2.09 and drivers version 169.04 (XP/VISTA) ( www.laptopvideo2go.com)

Overclock at your own risk thou as its a thin and light notebook so overheating could be a problem. Make sure you disconnect the battery (only overclock on AC power), put it on a cooling stand and allow adequte ventilation and only raise the core/mem speed at max 5 mhz increments to find a safe overclock value. Check the GPU temp and don`t allow it to go over 80c as a safety margin.

Use 3dmark to test stability and video memory stress programs to find a good value. Again done at your own risk and be aware this could potentionally void the warrenty on your machine and reduce the lifespan of the GPU.
