    Hey there

I need help overclocking my Sony Vaio with:

    Motherboard name: Sony VGN-NS315TH

I can't seem to find the clock generator for it to use on FSB. For some odd reason, the only clock generator with which I've been able to overclock my laptop (albeit without being able to underclock it back) is with the first available option on the fsb program:

    ICS9148BF-26

    it was at :
    5/7 (103.0/206.0/-/34.3Mhz)

    and it's now running at:
    6/7 (112.0/224.0/-/37.3Mhz)

I was able to raise it..but now I can't lower it for some reason.

The temperature rise is not significant, maybe 3-4 extra celsius degrees but nowhere near passing the 60°C safety mark. In any case I have a fan nearby.

I tried using the 'PLL locating' tool to no avail. The one on that CDUID page or whatever that ends in clockgen.php say's it not currently available - will be back soon.

The PLL Diagnosis tool in FSB doesn't yield any magic results either: Here is a screenshot of the results:

Can't up the http above because it says I need 15 posts or more to add links to other sites. I suppose to prevent /viagra spammer bots but anyway...

    All help is appreciated.
    Cheers
    G
