    Hi guys,

I was just wondering if anyone has tried, tested or played with overclocking the CPU on the i7 Z model?

I know turbo boosts does it "somewhat" but im talking the base speeds.

With the bios hacked and all is it possible in the first place to even overclock the mobile i7 M 620 ? im thinking SetFBS or like?

Id be happy to test around or help figure things out if people are interested but it would be great to know if anyone have any knowledge on this already.

    Cheers.

    Thanks.

Hmm there seem to be little record of people OCing the VPC-Z models, how ever a lot of other sony laptops have been OCed with SetFSB.

Try setting the TDP/TDC values using Throttlestop to activate the turbo mode.
