hey guys,
i am completly clueless to the computer world and some guy is trying to sell me a laptop saying its a PCG-7V2l and is saying its the same as a VGN-FE890.
is this true?
why are there two model numbers.
is this a good laptop? how much would you guys pay for one.

Hey there. I just saw this post. I own a SONY Vaio with the model number PCG-7V2L. It is definitely a good laptop. I purchased it from Circuit City in March 2007 for about $1200. If you have any questions, let me know.
I realize a little time has passed, did you end up buying it? How much did he want to sell it to you for? -
At the lower right corner of the monitor, I can see a "VGN-FE880E" label. I don't know if it's the model name for the display or it's another model for the laptop.

Guys i am lookin for that sony vaio -PCG-7V2L notebook`s xp driver .i download from somewhere but most of them is none working,thats way
If you are using the same model.can make a drver backup and upload rapid or somewhere else pls .

This is bringin up a dead horse but for anybody that needs to get the drivers for the PCG-7v2L Series Sony Vaio for Windows Xp i have them all which includes everything from camera to networks.
