    Hi.
I have a Vaio PCG-GRT896HP which needs a few replacement parts to be fully functional again: the socket for the power supply and part of the speaker system.
I wondered if anybody knows if my laptop's parts are compatible and interchangable with other Vaios.
Is it part of a series where all the laptops use the same parts?
Then I can scan the Bay of e for spares and repairs latops.
    Many thanks.

You should be able to swap parts with most, if not all other GRTs. When you say the "socket for the power supply", are you referring to the DC jack? If so, you don't really even need one from a GRT.
