A long time ago I noticed that I had a thin single horizontal line on my screen, it changed from red to green to yellow and if you pressed on the screen it would disappear. Now it is here for good.

Anyone have any idea on what to do about this. It's not a huge issue but a little annoying.

Plug it on a external monitor to make sure its not the graphics card.

If it shows up fine on the external monitor then its most likely your LCD or LCD cable

Good idea. I for some reason can't find my analog monitor cable, I have my current pc set up on digital. Guess I'll have to use the old Best Buy buy/return the next day method. You're the man, I had this idea on fixing another comp but didn't have the cable but I guess I'll go buy one now.
