I recently picked up my dad's old Vaio, a PCG-R505GL, and I have to get a hard drive because he's a General in the Air Force and either isn't allowed to pass personal hard drives along, or just doesn't feel comfortable doing so.

Any way, I'd like to get a Hitachi 120GB internal hard drive, but the only local ones that I can find have an Ultra ATA/100 interface, will that work in my Vaio?

Nevermind...just figured out that Ultra ATA/100 is just another way of saying ATA-6, which is compatible in the PCG-R505GL. Thanks anyway.
