There is no Sony PCI Express notebook announced yet. People are waiting for PCI Express (a new interfact slot, just like AGP or PCI, only faster and better) notebook because supposedly the new notebook graphics cards using PCI Express are going to be modular -- you can upgrade it yourself later down the road.

Several laptops had been announced with ATI Mobility Radeon X600 (Acer Aspire 1800, Asus M7000V, ECS 900, etc), and some are supposedly to ship in the next month or two. None of them are true thin-and-light though, everyone of them comes with at least 15" monitor. Also, the first generation X600 is basically Radeon 9700 with different interface, so there is very little performance gain and you will just buy it for the upgradability.
