    Hello There,

I have a laptop that has back light issues although it is LED.

Original fault was the screen was cracked then we ordered a replacement screen tried it in but it wasn't displaying correctly but it did have the back light(turned out there was a slight difference in model number on screen)

We then ordered the right screen which was fitted and it was displaying but with no back light.

After searching on this forum I found that some dells have had this issue in which there was a 3A fuse on the board which had to changed as it had blown which cured the problem i have searched the board all round the screen socket and there is no fuse there.

Would appreciate any advice given for next step to fix the problem. i will attach a picture of the board near the screen socket.

    Jake. :)
